Welcome back to Browns

Located on The Headrow, at the corner of The Light next to the Henry Moore Institute and Leeds Art Gallery, Browns Brasserie was recently closed for a number of months while it underwent a refreshing refurbishment. Given the sheer size of the venue, with cavernously high ceilings it’s no wonder they were working on it for so long, but the outcome is looking great.

They hosted a re-launch party on Thursday 5th April that I was lucky enough to attend, and fortunately found myself close to the stairwell where all the food samples were being brought out to the guests, so I can confidently confirm that their food is delicious! To complement the food they also selected a number of cocktails, so clearly I had to also try all of them for quality, and I wasn’t disappointed.

For those on a budget it was good to see they have a few cocktail offers at £4.95, and with the centre of Leeds being so compact it’s worth getting your evening started there.

Following on from my visit I’m already making enquiries for when I can take the Relish Dining group along for a meal, so watch out for this being added to the site www.yorkshirerelishdining.co.uk
