The first new street food vendors of 2018 arrive at Trinity Kitchen this weekend as Dapur Malaysia, Pavs Dhaba, Christopher Gowan’s Steak Sandwiches and Wagyu Lookin’ At? get ready to serve up delicious new dishes from Sunday, February 4th.

Trinity Kitchen’s latest additions will take residency for seven weeks, alongside current vendors Slap and Pickle and Mr D’s Magnificent Pie Machine.

 Dapur Malaysia

Dapur Malaysia

Dapur Malaysia will brighten up shoppers’ lunch hours with their vibrant Malaysian street food. The team takes inspiration from their mother’s cooking and their time growing up in Malaysia, drawing on Malay, Chinese and Indian cooking techniques and recipes. Try the beef or chicken rendang, which is stewed in 18 different spices and served with coconut rice.

 Pavs Dhaba

Pavs Dhaba will be dishing up traditional Indian food. If you’re feeling peckish, grab some veggie pakoras, or if you’re in the mood for an Indian street food feast, go for a combo plate for a little taste of everything.

Christopher Gowan’s Steak Sandwiches will offer mouth-watering options for meat lovers. The Leeds Festival favourites use top quality steak and bacon sourced from Dunwood Farm in Staffordshire. The bourbon steak sandwich and chimichurri fries are definitely worth a try.

Wagyu Lookin’ At? puts Yorkshire Wagyu meat at the heart of its menu. With generous burgers topped with free-range smoked Yorkshire bacon and secret burger sauce, it’s no wonder they’ve been finalists at the British Street Food Awards for the past three years.

 Slap and Pickle

Slap and Pickle

Slap and Pickle is continuing its stay at Trinity Kitchen, as their delicious burgers, hearty hot dogs and homemade pickles and sauces have proved a big hit. Veggie lovers can opt for the Vegan Chilli Cheese Dog – make sure to wash it all down with their signature pickleback shot or a ‘strange brew’.

 Mr D's Magnificent Pie Machine

Award-winning vendor Mr D’s Magnificent Pie Machine is also staying after impressing food fans with its handmade steak and pork pie meals all served from their distinctive pie truck – think Steampunk meets Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

Dan Wharton, Marketing Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “It’s a new year and a new start for Trinity Kitchen as we welcome four exciting new vendors to the line-up.

“From Malaysian curries to mouth-watering Yorkshire Wagyu burgers, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re popping in on your lunch hour or just taking a break from shopping.

“It’s always a pleasure when street food vendors choose to stay on and we’re sure food fans will be delighted to see Slap and Pickle and Mr D’s Magnificent Pie Machine are sticking around a little longer.”

With a concept that is completely unique to Trinity Leeds, Trinity Kitchen sources the very best of British street food, bringing six new operators to the city every eight weeks.

The new arrivals will be at Trinity Kitchen until March 25th, trading alongside permanent outlets Chicago Rib Shack, Chip + Fish, Duck ’n Roll, Pho, Rola Wala and Tortilla.
