Luxury Leeds hotel launches its first afternoon tea menu
Dakota Deluxe Leeds has launched its first ever afternoon tea, offering a luxurious dining experience, perfect for daytime get-togethers.
As a brand-new offering, customers can now experience an afternoon tea of pure luxury situated in the spacious Cocktail Lounge, which oozes contemporary elegance. The dark colour palette, soft furnishings and dim lighting gives the Dakota an aura of calm and tranquillity where guests can unwind within a relaxed environment and catch up with friends.
Presented on elegant stands, the menu features a selection of quintessential sweet and savoury items, all handmade by head chef Ross Bootland, that can be enjoyed alongside an exceptional selection of unlimited teas from Taylors of Harrogate. Guests can also add a glass of Hattingley Valley, British sparkling wine for that ultimate English flair.
Fans of the tradition can sample finger sandwiches from smoked salmon to succulent ham, and tradition is maintained with freshly-baked mini cranberry and plain scones topped with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. The essential petit fours are all delicately created which include; Citrus Pistachio Sponge with Citrus Segments, Rhubarb and Custard Dome, The Three Chocolate Delice and Spiced Apple Macaroon to satisfy all taste-buds.
