Twitter: #transguytwitter

 
 

Trans people all over the world are taking to Twitter using the #transguytwitter to share their stories and celebrate their identities, we find this to be absolutely beautiful.

For many years, trans members of the LGBT+ community have faced many obstacles which the majority of us can take for granted. The Inspiring set of tweets talk about transitioning, visibility and some even came out as trans using the hashtag.

From what we can gather, the response to this hashtag has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are seeing so many different trans people taking pride in who they are. 

We had a look over Twitter this morning and picked out some of the one's as examples:

In connection to this hashtag, we also came across a powerful and inspiring story which recently went viral. Jaimie Wilson, uploaded this picture on Instagram which talks about not judging a book by it's cover, and how trans people might not show the signs of who they are in black and white:
