The Yorkshire Terriers

The Yorkshire terriers are Leeds and West Yorkshire’s longest running LGBT+ sports club with over 21 years of experience. With the support of Armley Leisure Centre The Yorkshire Terriers are kicking off this years LGBT+ Sport Fringe Festival with a 5-a-Side Football Tournament on 20th July @ 6pm.

Marching Out Together

Marching Out Together are Leeds United’s LGBT+ fan group. Their aim is to make Elland Road, and football in general a more inclusive place for all. Marching Out Together are organizing their own team for the 5-a-Side Football Tournament. DAZL

DAZL - Dance Action Zone Leeds.PNG

DAZL- Dance Action Zone Leeds is a charity organization that works closely with children in deprived areas of Leeds and disabled children. DAZL gets children off the streets and into dance. With 4 events planned for this years Leeds LGBT+ Sport Fringe Festival, DAZL have created events for Kids and Adults. Here is a list of all their events throughout the festival


Leeds Frontrunners

Leeds Frontrunners are Leeds official LGBT+ inclusive running club and have been running (literally) for 6 years. Leeds Frontrunners have organised 5 events for this years Leeds LGBT+ Sport Fringe Festival. Here is a breakdown of all of their events and locations during this year’s festival.

Remember this is a fully inclusive event! We aim to ‘Combat Homophobia in Sport and Sportphobia in the LGBT+ community, by offering a selection of free taster events run by the community for the community.’ As well as homophobia we aim to make a stand towards bullies by supporting ‘Ditch the Label’


DITCH THE LABEL

Ditch the Label are one of the largest pro-equality and anti-bullying charities in the world.
Their award-winning work spans across the UK, USA and Mexico; promoting equality and empowering people aged 12-25 to overcome bullying. They are a digital charity, which means that most of their support is provided online through their website and partnerships with games and social networks. It is estimated that every 3 minutes somebody will benefit from their support.
