Out/Stage/Us - MANCHESTER EVENT

Here at Freedom Quarter, we believe in branching out from time to time and advertise events which are out of our area. The one below is taking place in Manchester, and we felt that it needed to be shared!

OUT/STAGE/US is an exciting new quarterly arts event showcasing LGBTQ new writing and multi-media, exploring local, national and global LGBTQ issues and celebrating the LGBTQ community.

The first OUT/STAGE/US will be a special 2-night event at Hope Mill Theatre on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th August, 7.30pm and will feature a queer response to the Manchester Arena attack. Submissions are now open for short plays, films, performance art, spoken word, music or stand-up.

Night 1 - OUT AND ABOUT

A night celebrating Manchester's gay village and LGBTQ nightlife, from the cobbles of Canal Street to the late night chill out.

Night 2 - OUT AND LOUD

A night of strength and defiance exploring LGBTQ themes from our city and across the globe, including a queer response to the Manchester bombing.
